1. Acceptance

By accessing thetaxapp.io you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. TaxApp is operated by Velocity Tax Group, LLC, a Texas limited liability company (a dedicated TaxApp entity is in formation and will assume operation on notice).

2. What this site is; subscriptions govern

This site describes the TaxApp platform for tax and accounting firms. Any subscription to TaxApp is governed by a signed Master Subscription Agreement and Data Processing Addendum, which control over these Terms for the service itself.

3. Not tax, legal, or financial advice

Site content — including product descriptions, comparisons, and examples — is informational and promotional, not tax, legal, or financial advice. Competitor names and prices referenced on this site are published public pricing; client names in examples are fictional. TaxApp is a tool that supports credentialed professionals; it is not itself a tax preparer, and AI output on the platform is never a final tax determination — a credentialed human is responsible for every deliverable.

4. Acceptable use & intellectual property

The site, its content, software, and marks are owned by Velocity Tax Group, LLC or its licensors; you may not copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, or misuse them, or attempt to access data you are not authorized to access.

5. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" without warranties to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from your use of this site will not exceed $100, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. (Liability for the subscribed service is governed by the Master Subscription Agreement.) This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, including for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

6. Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by Texas law; exclusive venue is the state or federal courts in Montgomery County, Texas.
